About Polygloton
Language education in schools is a broken system, and apps can only teach so much, but people like us know that you need to take a creative approach to learning your target language! Polygloton™ is for people to connect with that creative side and learn languages like a polyglot!
My language learning journey has been full of many failures before stumbling into thriving success. I learned plenty about what doesn’t work before starting to understand the beautiful intricacies of language learning. In a few years’ time, I’ve been able to learn two major German dialects, Spanish, Italian, French, Latin, Scots, Afrikaans, Dutch, and several other languages with what I call the Polygloton™ method. I can’t wait to share those tricks with you, so stick around and learn to learn like a polyglot!
About Tommy
Thomas (Tommy) Walheim is an American polyglot, linguist, columnist and speaker. Since beginning to study languages at 18, he has taught himself to speak an array of languages including German, Spanish, Italian, French, Latin, Scots, Afrikaans, Dutch, and Pennsylvania Dutch, as well as how to sign American Sign Language. He now splits his time between private teaching and running Polygloton – Tommy’s Home for Language Geeks.
